Nallagonda: Police have finally arrested Saiko, who was allegedly misbehaving with women, girls and students in Nallagonda district center.  Special police under the command of Twotown SI Mr. Rajasekhar Reddy carried out blow-up operations on the orders of SP Ms. Rema Rajeshwari IPS, who took it seriously after several complaints were received about the unruly behavior of an unidentified person.

Based on CCTV cameras, the accused was identified as Kumirila Satish of Patabasti Hindupur.  Satish was arrested by the police while wandering near NG College.  The details of the accused were revealed by DSP Mr. Venkateshwar Reddy at a press conference held at the Totone Police Station on Monday.  A native of Patabasti Hindupur, Satish completed his BSP and BED in 2007.  He later worked as a teacher at PLN Memorial School on Munugod Road from 2009–2011 and at Ekalavya School in Shivajinagar from 2011–2012.

Satish was married on April 25, 2012 to a young woman from Vemulapadu village in Vemulapalli Mandal.  The DSP explained that his wife Satish had left him for eight months due to family quarrels and since then Satish had been living alone and inciting hatred towards women and behaving rudely.  Satish said that he has been behaving rudely since childhood.  He said he went to jail in 1999 for misbehaving with a close relative.

Police said that Satish had been behaving indecently for a few days, targeting women going alone, students going to schools and colleges.  No one came forward to complain on the grounds of dignity and being.

However, on the 24th of this month, Satish also lodged a complaint with the Twotown police and was arrested for allegedly behaving indecently with a teacher of a women’s degree college.  The DSP congratulated CI Mr. Chandrasekhar Reddy, SI Mr. Rajasekhar Reddy, staff Mr. Shanshuddin, Mr. Shankar, Mr. Balakoti and Mr. Gopayya for solving the case.

SP Ms. Rema Rajeshwari warned in a statement on Monday that strict action would be taken if women and girls were treated indecently.  He said the police department and the She team would work together to curb gangsterism and give women reassurance and freedom.  Dial ‌ 100, She Team Police number 9963393970 is requested to give information immediately in case of any problem.  The SP said the details would be kept confidential.
