Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu: Reinforcing its commitment to responsive and citizen-friendly policing, the Tirunelveli City Police conducted the weekly Public Grievance Redressal Camp at the Police Commissioner’s Office on Wednesday.
During the camp held on January 21, 2026, as many as 21 members of the public submitted their petitions directly to the Commissioner of Police, Dr. N. Manivannan, IPS. The Commissioner patiently heard the grievances and assured the petitioners that appropriate action would be initiated and effective solutions provided in accordance with the law.
The camp was attended by Deputy Commissioners of Police Dr. C. Madhan, IPS (West), V. Vinoth Santharam (East), and S. Vijayakumar (Headquarters), who assisted in addressing the issues raised by the public.
The initiative reflects the Tirunelveli City Police’s ongoing efforts to strengthen public trust through transparent grievance redressal and accessible policing.
