Sivagangai: Under the directives of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Mr. M.K. Stalin, and the orders of Director General of Police, Mr. Shailendrababu, IPS, a public grievance redressal camp was meticulously organized at the Sivagangai District Superintendent of Police office on Wednesday, June 28, 2023. This significant event was held with the objective of promptly addressing the concerns and grievances of the public.
The camp was executed under the able guidance and supervision of South Zone Police Chief, Mr. Azra Garg IPS, who ensured the smooth functioning and effective management of the proceedings. Leading the initiative was Sivagangai District Superintendent of Police, Mr. S. Selvaraj IPS, whose exemplary leadership played a pivotal role in the success of the camp.
The event witnessed the active participation of all Additional Superintendents of Police, Deputy Superintendents of Police from various sub-districts, and Inspectors of Police. This comprehensive representation of law enforcement officers demonstrated their commitment to fostering a safer and more responsive environment for the community.
During the Public Grievance Redressal Camp, a total of 35 newly submitted petitions, reflecting the concerns and issues faced by the public, were meticulously examined and promptly addressed. Additionally, the camp successfully resolved 2 pending petitions that were received from the Chief Minister’s separate section, Chief Minister’s address, and district governor’s grievance redressal day. By swiftly resolving these petitions, the camp aimed to alleviate the grievances of the affected individuals and ensure their faith in the administrative system.
The meticulous efforts of the participants, combined with their unwavering dedication to public service, played a significant role in the efficient and effective resolution of these grievances. This camp stands as a testament to the government’s commitment to addressing the concerns of its citizens and working towards a more just and equitable society.
