Puducherry: The Puducherry Police has celebrated the pipping ceremony of 62 newly promoted Sub-Inspectors from the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspector and Head Constable. The last time, such promotions happened was only in 2014. Apart from these, 31 other police officers have been kept in the reserved list of promotions. The Puducherry DGP Mr. Balaji Srivastava IPS congratulated them all.
