Punjab: The Punjab Police have made an appeal to the people to stay at home to fight against Corona Virus. In case you are leaving home for essentials or emergency services, please follow the suggested protocols to minimize the risk of infection. Let us break the chain.
When you enter your home avoid touching anything. Remove your shoes or footwear. If you have taken your pet outside for a walk disinfect your pet’s paws. Remove your clothes and place them in a bag to be washed. Leave your bag, purse, wallet, keys, etc. in a box at the entry of your home. Have a shower. If you can’t wash all exposed areas wash your mobile phone and glasses with hot soapy water or alcohol (disinfectant). Clean with bleach of all the surfaces of whatever you brought from outside before storing it.
Wear long sleeves. If you have a mask put it on just before you leave. If you take your pet then try to avoid him/her brushing against surfaces. Crush your tissue place it in a bag, close the bag and then dispose of it.
Try not to use cash, if you do disinfect your hands. Do not touch your face until you have clean hands. For women tie your hair don’t wear jewelry, makeup or cream. Try not to use public transport. Take disposable tissues to use them to cover your fingers when you touch surfaces. If you cough or sneeze do not do it in your hands or the air do it into your elbow. Wash your hands after touching any object or use hand sanitizer. Practice social distancing.
