Rachakonda: On 18.03.2023 Rachakonda Commissioner Mr. D.S. Chauhan IPS held a coordination meeting of Police and Prosecution Officers at the CP office in Neredmet. On this occasion, Rachakonda C.P. Mr. Chauhan Garu said that if everyone in the criminal justice system works in coordination with the objective of increasing the punishment rate, then the criminal will be punished appropriately. Similarly, if the police and prosecutors discuss the matters related to the case together and work without any loop holes, the criminals will be punished appropriately, he said. This builds trust in the criminal justice system in society.
The CP appreciated all the Investigation Officers and Court Duty Officers for their excellent performance in maximum conviction rate in Telangana State. Similarly in NDPS cases also it is suggested to follow the SOP and check list to ensure that the culprits are given appropriate punishment.
Joint Commissioner Mr. V. Satyanarayana, IPS, Garu said that the police should perform their duties in a timely manner with the aim of providing timely justice to the victims and their families, to achieve speedy disposal of cases and conviction rate as per scientific investigation.
In this meeting four Zonal DCPs of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate, Crime DCP, ACP. Deputy Director Smt. Kasturi, Joint Director Raji Reddy and Additional Public Prosecutors participated on behalf of CCRB, Investigation Officers, CDOs and Prosecution.
