Rachakonda : With an effort to enhance visibility and approachability Mr. D.S. Chauhan IPS., Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda held first meeting with Rachakonda Security Council Chairman Rachakonda Security Council, Mr. D.S. Chauhan IPS, addressed his first meeting of RKSC office bearers at the Neredmet Commissionerate with a welcome note by Mr. Venkatesh Sangam, Vice Chairman RSKC. Mr. D S Chauhan IPS., expressed his happiness to see the progress made so far and shared his views towards way forward. He emphasized on the importance and relevance on staying in touch with the ground realities and that RKSC would be a good channel to strengthen the Governance within the Rachakonda limits.
As a priority, instructed the respective Forum leaders to work towards enhancing visibility, spreading awareness and brand image on the approachability, arrest the issue at the grass root level, Safety of Women: spread awareness and enforcement, increase visibility, build confidence in Women to move fearlessly, intensify the awareness and implementation of POSH Act. Cyber safety Team to come with a pictorial form to specific DO and Don’ts for the young minds, motivate them to stay connected with physical world. Traffic Security, Rural outreach initiatives to be driven at real time, Fire Safety also to added to the Safety & Security initiatives.

Srinivas DCP Traffic, Mr. Shameer Addl DCP CAR Rachakonda, Mr. Sunpreet Singh IPS DCP LB Nagar Rachakonda, Mr. Narayan Reddy IPS DCP Bongiri, acknowledged the efforts of the Forum leaders and committed to give their consistent support and cooperation. RKSC General Secretary Mr. V Vadlamani Satish, briefed about the initiatives and the Forum Joint Secretaries Mrs. Latha Subramanyam, Dr. Raghuveer, Mr. SreeRam, Mr. Anil Rachamalla, Mr. Sudhakar, and coordinator Ms. Nandita shared the journey so far and tabled their initiatives as the way forward, which will be discussed and finalized in the upcoming meetings. RKSC Treasurer Mr. Gagandeep Singh Kohili, RKSC Convenor- Administration Mrs. Narmada, RKSC Chief Coordinator Mrs. M Savithri were present for the meeting.
