Rachakonda: Rachakonda CP Mr. DS Chauhan IPS advised the officials to be vigilant against cybercrimes. Today Commissioner Mr. DS Chauhan IPS held a review meeting with Rachakonda Commissionerate Cyber Crime and Crime Branch officers and staff at the Commissioner’s office in Nared Met.
In this program, the Commissioner said that in the modern age of technology, the percentage of cybercrimes is increasing due to the new technology and devices that are available. It is stated that technological devices should be used according to different types of needs, but at the same time people should be aware about cybercrimes. Authorities have been advised to organize programs in colleges and other places with the participation of youth to increase public awareness about cybercrimes. The commissioner warned that those who cheat people in the name of fake lotteries, fake job advertisements, fake bank account information and fake Gippu boxes will be severely punished. Authorities have been advised not to let those who harass young women on social media go under any circumstances.
The Commissioner said that due to the efforts and strict measures taken by the police, the menace of chain snatchers has reduced to a great extent in Rachakonda Commissionerate and women are going out peacefully and doing their work. The commissioner warned that those who commit crimes like chain snatching will not be spared. Officers are advised to work in coordination with the staff to reduce the number of crimes. The police commissioner said that crime can be controlled only if the officers and staff of all departments work in coordination.
