Hyderabad, Telangana, Sept 19, 2025: In a proud moment for the Rachakonda Police Commissionerate, Commissioner of Police Sri Sudheer Babu, IPS, presented Police Service Medals to 65 police personnel who demonstrated exceptional performance in their duties. The medals were awarded during a special ceremony held at Neredmet.
The awardees ranged from constable to additional DCP rank, reflecting the dedication and hard work of officers across all levels of the force.
Congratulating the medal recipients, CP Sudheer Babu IPS emphasized that both the Central and State Governments recognize and honor police personnel who display extraordinary service and commitment through such prestigious medals. He encouraged all officers to stay dedicated, showcase their best abilities, and deliver effective policing that upholds the dignity and prestige of the police department.
“These medals are not just recognition, but also inspiration for future achievements. I urge every officer to take pride in their duties and strive to win more medals in the coming years,” the CP stated.
The Telangana State Government had announced these medals on the occasions of New Year 2025 and Telangana Formation Day (June 2, 2025).
On this occasion, the CP also congratulated Rahul Reddy, IPS, ACP Bhuvanagiri, on his promotion to Additional SP.
The event was attended by senior officers including DCP Malkajgiri Padmaja IPS, LB Nagar DCP Praveen Kumar IPS, Bhuvanagiri DCP Akanksh Yadav IPS, Maheshwaram DCP Sunitha Reddy, DCP Crimes Arvind Babu, DCP Admin Indira, SOT DCP Ramana Reddy, SB DCP G. Narasimha Reddy, Traffic DCP–1 Manohar, Traffic DCP–2 Srinivasulu, DCP Cyber Crime Nagalakshmi, and DCP Headquarters Shyamsunder, along with Additional DCPs and other officers.
The ceremony reflected the spirit of dedication, discipline, and pride in police service, inspiring all personnel to serve the people with even greater commitment.
