Rachakonda: On 06.01.2022 at 3 pm, on receipt of credible information, officers of SOT LB Nagar Zone of Rachakonda Commissionerate and L.B. Nagar Police Station apprehended a suspect by the name Mohammed Hussain(22) and recovered an illegal firearm; pistol along with six live rounds of ammunition from his possession and instance. A case was registered at LB Nagar Police Station, Rachakonda Police Commissionerate.
On 6.1.2022, on receipt of credible information, officers of SOT LB Nagar and LB Nagar Police Station apprehended the accused by name Mohammed Hussain at the Chintalakunta check post under LB Nagar police station. On physical search, one Pistol with six live rounds in its magazine was recovered. Preliminary inquiry revealed that the accused Mohammed Hussain is a native of Charminar recently he is migrated to Rajendra Nagar, Ranga Reddy, Telangana. He is a daily wage laborer and is not happy with his earnings. He procured the firearm and live rounds from UP. He was planning to earn easy money by indulging in extortions/ robberies. Police are investigating the exact source of the weapon and his plans including targets.
