Rachakonda: In the morning hours of 26.6.2020, the sleuths of the Special Operation Team (SOT) LB Nagar Zone along with Abdullapurmet Police nabbed seven persons namely; Nunavath Jagan, Kethavath Murali, Vankudothu Sai, Maloth Vinodh, Nunavath Sudhakar, Vankudoth Jithendor and Anup Kumar on National Highway No.65 near Pedda Amberpet under the limits of Abdullapurmet Police Station while they were transporting the contraband drug which is Ganja from Dharakanda of Visakhapatnam agency to Rajasthan state. The Police seized 81Kilograms of Ganja, 2 vehicles, Net Cash Rs. 1, 45, 000/- and 9 mobile phones all worth Rs. 30, 00, 000/- from their possession. The case has been registered at Abdullapurmet Police Station. The Key accused is Nunavath Jagan. Nunavath Jagan used to attract youth by offering them huge money and made them indulge in this illegal activity.
The arrests of the accused were made under the supervision of Mr.Mahesh.M.Bhagwat IPS, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda Commissionerate, Mr.G.Sudheer Babu IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, Mr.Sunpreet Singh IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, LB Nagar Zone under the direct guidance of Mr.J.Surender Reddy IPS Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Special Operations Team, Rachakonda by Mr.S.Devender, Inspector of Police, Abdullapurmet Police Station, Mr. T. Ravi Kumar Inspector of Police, Mr.Sathyanarayana, Sub-Inspector of Police, Mr.Avinash Babu, Sub-Inspector of Police, Special Operations Team, LB Nagar Zone and the staff of the Special Operations Team.
