Rachakonda : On (24.2.2023) at 1700 hours, on reliable information the SOT Bhongir team waylaid and intercepted Auto trolley goods carrier vehicle Bearing registration No. MH03-DV-0569 at Reddybavi Choutuppal town and apprehended three persons namely Shaik Mohammad Ibnaan, Rukmuddin Abdul Razak Shaikh alias Irfan, and Ahmed Mohammed Ishaq Merchant all resident of Navi Mumbai for procuring and transporting 200KG of Ganja packets from Ambdar village. Sambalpur district, Odisha State and proceeding to Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra for selling the same. The accused persons are: A-1 Shaik Mohammad Ibnaan(26) S/o Shaik Mohammad Ibrahim, Occ: Swiggy Delivery boy, resident of Plot no: 37, Indira Nagar, Joperpatty, Govandi district, Mumbai, Maharashtra; A2 Rukmuddin Abdul Razak Shaikh alias Irfan(35) S/o Abdul Razak Shaikh, Occ: Auto Driver, R/o: Plot no 37/D/1, Baiganwadi, Road no 12, Govandi district, Mumbai, Maharashtra; A-3 Ahmad Mohammad Ishaq Merchant(30) S/o Mohammad Haji, Occ: Driver, resident of H.No: 202, Sofi Building, Khime Village, Kofakairani, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra; A4 Jalla Adithya, Ro Ambdur village, Charamal Tehsil, Sambalpur district, Odisha state;
A-5 Nusro Ro Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra.

On 24.2.2023 the sleuths of SOT, Malkajgiri Zone along with Keesara police apprehended one person Barik Jagannath(26) s/o Vijay Barik, Occ: Mason work resident of Praja sai gardens, Bandlaguda (v) Keesara who was migrated from Badagam (V) Gurandi (Mdl), Gajapathi (District) Odisha (State) for indulging in illegal transportation of Ganja from Odisha to Hyderabad and seized 10 Kg of Ganja worth Rs 3 Lakh and one Mobile Phone from his possession. The above arrests were made under the direct supervision of Mr. D.S. Chauhan, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, Mr. V. Satyanarayana, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, and under the guidance of Mr. R. Giridhar, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Special Operations Team, Malkajgiri, Rachakonda, Mr. G.Naveen Kumar, Inspector of Police, SOT Bhongir zone, Mr. L. Madhubabu, SI of Police and staff of Special Operations Team, Bhongir zone of Rachakonda.
