Rachakonda: On credible information, the sleuths of Special Operations Team (SOT), LB Nagar Zone team along with Saroor Nagar police busted a drug racket by apprehending 4 interstate drug peddlers namely Syed Aamir Moiz, Mohammed Saad, Palem Nivas and Mailapally Venkat Ranganadha Chary and seized 12 Grams of Contraband Substance Heroin and 4 Mobile Phones from their possession. A case was registered of NDPS Act 1985 of Saroor Nagar Police Station of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate.
The arrested accused persons are:-
Syed Aamir Moiz(26), S/o. Syed Faseeulla, occ: Business (car dealer), R/o Neelasandra, Bengaluru, Karnataka State. He is a Supplier, Mohammed Saad(26), S/o. Mohammed Abdul Jaleel, Occ: Scrap Business, R/o Ranasinghpet, Bengaluru, Karnataka State. He is a Supplier
cum Mediator, Palem Nivas(24), S/o Palem Venu Kameshwar Rao, Occ: UnEmployee, r/o Puppalguda, Manikonda, Hyderabad. Native of Gudur, Nellore district. He is a Consumer cum Seller, Mailapally Venkat Ranganadha Chary(20), S/o. M. Srinivas Chary, Occ: Private Employee, R/o Mythripuram Colony, Karmanghat. Saroor Nagar. N/o. Parigi, Vikarabad district. He is a Consumer cum Seller.
The police seized the following materials: Heroin- 12 Grams, Mobile Phones- 4.All worth about Rs. 1,50,000/-.
Brief Facts:-
As part of proactive action against drug peddlers the SOT, LB Nagar Zone, along with Saroor Nagar police busted an interstate drug syndicate. The team constituted acted swiftly and apprehended 4 accused persons.The accused Palem Nivas hails from Nellore district, presently residing at Manikonda, Hyderabad and is in search of a job. He is the brother-in-law of Venkata Ranganadha Chary. Both are addicted to consuming drugs and also procuring and supplying the same to the needy persons and earning illegally by easy means.
Palem Nivas while studying B.Sc. Agriculture at Rai Technology University, Bengaluru during the years (2015-2017), he came in contact with Mohammed Saad and thus became friends. He used to procure drugs from Mohammed Saad for personal consumption and sale.
Mohammed Saad is resident of Bengaluru, Karnataka State is eking his lively hood by doing scrap business. Syed Aamir Moiz who is a drug peddler is close friend of Mohammed Saad. As his earnings are insufficient to maintain his lavish life style, he started supplying synthetic drugs to the needy customers with the help of Syed Aamir by getting his share amount.
Mohammed Aamir Moiz is doing car dealings business at Bengaluru, Karnataka one of his friend Prathap R/c. Bengaluru is the main kingpin of this drugs racket. He used to purchase the drugs at the rate of Rs.5,000/- to Rs.6,000/- per gram from Prathap and supplying / selling for at the rate of Rs.8,000/- to Rs.10,000/- per gram to the needy customers and earning illegally. The accused Aamir and Mohammed Saad delivers the Contraband to the customers at their place and collect money. Like wise, the duo came to Hyderabad to hand over the contraband Heroin to the accused Ranganadha Chary and Palem Nivas.
On 30-11-2022 at early morning hours the SOT, LB Nagar Zone team along with Saroor Nagar police conducted raid over the house of Ranganadha Chary at Kamanghat, Saroor Nagar, apprehended four accused persons and seized 12 Grams of Contraband Substance Heroin, and 4 Mobile Phones from their possession.
Heroin which is widely known as Black far, Smack, Horse and Skag is also consumed by snorting, smoking and injecting into veins. Its consumption adversely effects on the human body which leads to Heart attack and also damages Brain, Heart, Liver and Kidneys. Most of the Drug peddlers to earn more easy money they dilute pure form of Heroin with Chemical powders like Lidocaine, Inositol and Mannitol and sell at rupees 10,000 per gram.
The police has made an appeal to the people that procuring, selling, transportation and consumption of the banned Narcotics substances is a crime and punishable for imprisonment for a period of 10 years. According to Section 31A of the NDPS Act, death sentence is awarded to a drug trafficker who has been convicted once under the NDPS Act for “engaging in the production, manufacture, possession, transportation, import into India, export from India or trans-shipment, of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances.”
Hence it is a request to people/students to kindly inform to the police about drug traffickers, suppliers and consumers especially at colleges/hostels for taking necessary action against them to curb this menace.
