Rachakonda: In an ongoing drive against habitual offenders to create a sense of safety and security to the General Public within the limits of Commissionerate, CP, Rachakonda invoked proceedings under PD Act against Six habitual and notorious House burglars, hailed from Nepal Country and detained them in Central prison, Cherlapally and Women prison, Chenchalguda respectively on 02-07-2021.
All the six offenders are from Nepal came to Hyderabad for their livelihood. In the beginning, they worked as security guards in private companies for some time, and as their earning could not suffice their lavish expenses; they hatched a plan to commit thefts in houses. As part of their plan, they would break into the houses in the absence of inmates in the nighttime and decamp with jewelry, other valuables. Out of the booty, they sell a portion of jewelry to unknown persons and share the sale proceeds among themselves. They keep the remaining booty in their room at Nacharam for later disposal.
Thus, during March 2021 the gang committed as many as 4 burglaries in the localized area of Nacharam police Station. They committed all the above four burglaries in quick succession and within a fortnight
Acting on a tip-off, Nacharam Police arrested the accused persons on 23-03-2021 and seized Gold ornaments weighing about 210.6 grams, Silver ornaments weighing about 960 grams, One laptop, Two Cell phones, one LG TV, Rs 5,330/- cash in net all worth Rs.6,18,330/- from their possession and their room. Along with the above, the Police also seized various tools that the gang used in order to break into the houses. They were remanded to judicial custody and lodged in jails.
The apprehensions were a result of the Police’s efforts to nab the Gang after analyzing CC Footages collected from the vicinity of the crime scene.
As such, with a view to prevent them from committing such House burglaries continuously in the area and to preserve Public order, an order of detention under the PD Act has been made against them by Mr. Mahesh M. Bhagwat, I.P.S., Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, and detained them in Central Prison, Cherlapally and women jail at Chenchalguda, Hyderabad respectively on 02-07-2021.

Lil Bahadur Kami alias Ram Bahadur S/o Janga Bahadur, age: 21 years
Lalith S/o Lal bahadur Kami, age: 37 years
Sagar Bishwakarma alias Mrs. Janavi W/o Prem Sonu Bishwakarma alias Raju S/o Take Bahadur, age: 28 years
Tamatta, age; 32 years, Occ; House Keeping All R/0 Babilchand (V), Surketh Dist in Nepal Country.
Ashok Karan Singh Khane alias Ashok S/o Karan Singh Khane, Age: 39 years.
