Rachakonda: As per the instructions of CP, Rachakonda, today Cyber Crimes, Rachakonda in coordination with Rachakonda Security Council has conducted an Awareness Program on Cyber Stalking & Cyber Bullying in CVR Engineering College at Ibrahimpatnam Police Station limits, Ibrahimpatnam Division, Maheshwaram Zone. Mrs. Dr.B. Anuradha, IPS, DCP Cyber Crimes, Mr. Ch. Srinivas, DCP Maheshwaram Zone, Mr. G. Venkatesham, ACP Cyber Crimes, Mr. T.Kiran Kumar, Inspector of Police, Mr. Ramakrishna, SHO Ibrahimpatnam and Mr. Maraiah, SI Ibrahimpatnam, Mr. G. Naresh RSI Cyber Crimes and Cyber Warrior Team Ibrahimpatnam, CVR College Chairmen Mr. Narayana Reddy, RKSC Coordinator Mrs. Savitri and 600+ Engineering 2nd year students from all branches participated.
In this session a presentation was given a Cyber Stalking & Cyber Bullying and trending cyber offences such as Job frauds, Loan Frauds, Online Marketplace, Fake customer care, Investment frauds, etc. and advised the students that, if anyone get stalked or defrauded online, they need to report to the Police on toll free number 1930 immediately or log on www.cybercrime.gov.in. Also the police explained about emergency number ‘Dial 100’ and Rachakonda Whatsapp Complaints Cell ‘No. 9490617111’ for lodging the complaints.
