Rachakonda: In an ongoing drive against offenders to create safety and security for the public for the safeguard of their jewelry and to preserve public order in Rachakonda Police Commissionerate, CP Rachakonda detained a notorious Property offender who was involved in as many as 55 House Burglaries/thefts in the limits of Rachakonda and Hyderabad City Commissionerates Since 2015.
The offender Shaik Jamsheed(39) alias Jammi originally hailed from West Bengal state and came down to Hyderabad in 2000 for his livelihood. Initially, he started committing house burglaries to make quick money and to meet his lavish expenses. Since 2002 he has been committing house burglaries and was earlier arrested by Narayanaguda, Panjagutta Police of Hyderabad City. He was also convicted of several offenses by the Hon’ble Courts. Even though he could not change his way of life and resort to indulging in similar activities soon after his release from jail.
With a view to preventing him from committing such house burglaries continuously, repeatedly, and as such during the year 2015 CP Hyderabad city detained him under PD Act. Immediate after his release from detention he again started committing house burglaries in the limits of Rachakonda and as such in the year 2018 he was again detained under PD Act by CP Rachakonda.
On 29-07-2021, Malkajgiri police arrested the accused for his complicity in the above two house burglaries and recovered the stolen booty which was Silver Jewellery from his possession. He was produced before the Hon’ble Court for judicial remand and lodged in Central prison, Cherlapally. He has his own modus operandi that he pleads guilty in all cases at once before Lok-Adalat/Jail Adalath and gets conviction by setting up his remand period. As such he would release from jail immediately after his admission before the Lok-Adalat and indulges in similar activates.
As such with a view to preventing him from committing house burglaries, CP Rachakonda issued proceedings under PD Act 2nd time against him as a part of the preservation of peace and maintaining public order in Rachakonda and detained him in Central Prison Cherlapally on 26-10-2021.
