Rachakonda: The Rachakonda Security Council (RKSC) held its Second Annual General Meeting successfully at M/s. Genpact India Private Ltd, office at Uppal. The meeting was attended by RKSC Office Bearers, Executive Committee Members, RKSC Member company representatives, Volunteers and other Guests and dignitaries.
The AGM started with tree plantation drive and a welcome address by Ms. Soujanya and Ms. Nandita. Mr. Satish Vadlamani General Secretary, RKSC presented an overview of the Security Council and gave the insights of the RKSC mission and its vision. He spoke about the objectives of RKSC and shared insights about the purpose for formation of RKSC. He mentioned the intent of collaborating with the Rachakonda Police was for bringing the industries around the Commissionerate to join hands for building a safe and secure environment for all. He briefed about the structure of RKSC and the various forums working for RKSC.
He thanked the Commissioner of Police Rachakonda, Mr. Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat, IPS and all the forum conveners for their immense support to run the programs successfully. He appreciated efforts taken by the forum joint secretaries and the members for all the initiatives taken during the year. He emphasized on how we can move ahead with our learning from previous years and focus on initiatives in the coming months.
The Annual Book for the year 2021-2022 was released by the Chairman of RKSC Mr. Mahesh. M. Bhagwat IPS Genl. Secretary Mr. Satish Vadlamani, Treasurer Mr. Gagan Deep Kohli along with DCP,s Forum Convener and Joint secretaries, Mr. Kommaraiah, Chairman of Delhi Public School, other dignitaries.
Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat IPS, Chairman of RKSC addressed the gathering and mentioned about the necessity for formation of RKSC. He mentioned about how the RKSC forums have been pivotal in running initiatives for Women safety, Cyber safety, traffic safety and rural upliftment. He mentioned that Safety and Security forum of RKSC needs to initiate collaboration with industries and conduct programs with focused interventions during this year. He spoke about the importance of developing the rural areas and detailed on the rural outreach forum initiatives run by RKSC along with the Rachakonda Police. He appreciated the efforts taken for the development under Social Outreach Forum towards the renovation of Survail Anganwadi School, ZPHS Narayanpur Primary school to enhance with a better infrastructure. Dug bore wells, installed required submersible pump, provided overhead tanks, provision for safe drinking water was done. Sanitization facilities, construction of compound wall, pavement and gates were built; additional lighting and fans were provided. Kitchens were refurbished with enhanced structure and facilities. The makeover of eatery, lunch sit out place for kids was also done. He also touched upon initiatives done during the pandemic, distribution of sanitizers, food, oxygen cylinder and many other initiatives taken up by RKSC.
He thanked the Phycho Socio counselors, Volunteers, partner companies, who have been empathetic towards all the callers across the country through counseling during the testing times.
He appreciated the efforts taken by Women’s forum for women empowerment and spreading awareness on important topics such as POSH, wellness programs, She ERA for skill development etc. which was apart from the Margadarshak and Sanghamitra programs. He urged the member companies to support by providing employment opportunities for an overall economic development. He thanked all the forums leads and members for their wonderful work in 2021-2022 despite the pandemic challenges and thanked Gen. Secretary Mr. Satish V, Treasurer Kohli and all conveners, volunteers for their relentless support.
All the forum conveners and the joint secretaries highlighted their respective initiatives and thanked all the member companies for their continuous support.
Mr. Gagandeep Kohli, The Treasurer, RKSC presented the Audited Financial Reports of the year 2021-22, which was accepted, adopted and certified by the Executive Committee members during the EC meeting held on 4th June 2022. He gave a glimpse of the overall expenses spent towards various initiatives run by the RKSC forums. He also mentioned that the team is extremely vigilant in spending every rupee towards the betterment of society and requested non-member companies to come forward and make contributions.
The RKSC member companies were presented with the Membership Certificates. Felicitation was done for the partner companies who supported during the pandemic, companies who contributed to the ZPHS Sarvail School, guest speakers of various initiatives, counselors, best Margdarshaks and best traffic marshals.
The Chairman Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat IPS and Genl. Secretary Satish Vadlamani announced the new RKSC executive committee members who nominated themselves for the position. The new office bearers for year 2022-2024 were announced by the Chairman RKSC
At the end of the AGM, Gen. Secretary addressed the gathering and assured on behalf of the Rachakonda Security Council and its office bearers, that, with active and continuous support of all the RKSC member companies, the welfare activities, sustainable strategies, awareness programs, and learning process will be maintained, and this institute/organization will continue to progress in the years to come. He also sincerely appealed to all stakeholders, members, industry professional bodies, NGO’s and others, to collectively partner with us in achieving the vision of RKSC and make this a great success story and be the brand ambassador for GRID policy and Look East Vision, of Government of Telangana.
The General Secretary concluded the AGM with vote of thanks to the forum conveners, forum joint secretaries, the executive committee members, partner companies, volunteers, RKSC Chief Coordinator Ms. Savithri, admin staff, Police personals, Media partners for their continuous support.
