Raipur: At 5:00 am, a 100-member police team from Raipur conducted swift raids at various locations, resulting in the apprehension of 112 suspects. The operation targeted criminals, vigilantes, suspicious individuals, anti-social elements, and those involved in criminal activities. During the checks, seven individuals were found in possession of knives, leading to the registration of seven cases under the Arms Act in the respective police stations. Additionally, illegal liquor was confiscated from four suspects, leading to the filing of four cases under the Excise Act. Three individuals were found in possession of ganja, leading to the registration of two cases under the Narcotics Act. Furthermore, restrictive measures were imposed on approximately 68 individuals, including known troublemakers and criminal elements with a history of criminal involvement. Additionally, 20 arrest warrants and nine permanent warrants were issued under Section 327 (Bhadavi), leading to the apprehension of one absconding suspect.
