Raigarh: While the Raigarh Police were conducting vehicle checks during the COVID-19 lockdown period to prevent the spread of the corona infection the police came across a duster car in which 2 persons were traveling. On stopping the car for checking the police while checking the car there was ganja inside the car weighing 52 Kilograms. The Police seized the car and arrested the accused who were smuggling ganja in the car. A case was registered by the Dongaripali Police.
The Pusaur Police came to know from trusted sources that illegal liquor was being made. On getting the information the Police raided the place of making illegal Mahua liquor. During the raid, the police found 210 liters of Mahua liquor at the spot. The Pusaur Police seized 210 liters of Mahua liquor, illegal furnace, dismantling of Mahua pass, and arrested 4 accused who were making the liquor.
