Raigarh: During this COVID-19 pandemic period the State Government of all states of India has imposed lockdown across the country with a view to breaking the chain of COVID-19. The Police are working day and night as front-line warriors to save the lives of people of the country by putting their lives at risk. During this period anti-social elements are indulging in the manufacture and sale of illegal liquor and thereby destroying the lives of the people who consume such liquor. To curtail the actions of such anti-social elements the police have been working day and night.
The action was taken on illegal liquor in police station Pusaur, Kotrarod, Kotwali, Capitalpathra, Chowki Jutmill. In notable 07 cases, Tata Sumo vehicle, bike, mobile, gas cylinder, hearth, winemaking vessel, English, country, and Mahua liquor totaled 152 liters were confiscated by the police from the possession of the accused and the accused were taken into custody.
