Chhattisgarh, Raipur: In a significant operation against inter-state drug trafficking, Raipur Police launched a series of coordinated raids targeting heroin smuggling networks. As part of this crackdown, six individuals were apprehended from various locations across the city. Notably, five of the accused are natives of Punjab, highlighting the far-reaching connections of the smuggling syndicate. During the raids, law enforcement officers seized a substantial quantity of heroin, weighing 201.31 grams, with an estimated market value of ₹18.20 lakh. This operation underscores the commitment of Raipur Police to dismantle drug networks and curb the illegal trade of narcotics in the region.
