Raipur, Chhattisgarh: In a major breakthrough against cybercrime, Raipur Police successfully arrested six accused, including two residents of Maharashtra, as part of Operation Cyber Shield. The accused were found to be selling fake and pre-activated SIM cards that were being widely used in cyber fraud.
During the operation, police seized over 100 pre-activated SIM cards, preventing their misuse in fraudulent activities. This swift action has dealt a strong blow to cybercriminal networks operating across states.
Raipur Police reaffirmed their commitment to protecting citizens from cyber frauds and urged the public to remain alert and report suspicious activities immediately.
