Tamil Nadu, Ranipet: In Ranipet, following the orders of District Superintendent of Police, Ms. D.V. Kiran Shruti IPS, and the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police, Mr. Gunasekaran, an awareness program was conducted by the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), led by Inspector Ms. Bharathi from the IUCAW. The event took place at the L.F.C Girls’ Secondary School within the Ranipet Police Station limits. Around 800 female students and 300 parents attended the program, which focused on raising awareness about the prevention of sexual crimes against women and children, drug-related crimes, traffic safety, and promoted helpline numbers—181 for women and 1098 for children.
