Rajasthan: The Rajasthan Department of Home Defense has released the notification for the recruitment of Home Guard. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the post after going through the notification which is given below.
Director-General Home Guard Mr.Rajiv Dasot has said that 12.5 percent of the 2500 posts of Home Guard are reserved for ex-servicemen. There is a 30 percent reservation for women candidates. Out of which 8 percent reservation will be for widows and 2 percent reservation for divorced women candidates.
The educational Qualification and the eligibility for applying for these posts are as follows. The applicant must have passed the 8th class examination from a recognized board. The age of people applying for these posts should be between 18 years to 35 years. Age will be calculated from 1 April 2020. The candidates will be selected on the basis of the PET. The male candidate will have to run 1000 meters and the female candidate 800 meters.
To apply, candidates will have to apply by visiting the Rajasthan government website home.rajasthan.gov.in. Clicking on the link given for this recruitment on the home page will open a new window. Apply by entering the details sought in it. While filling the form, you will have to upload your passport size photograph and a scanned copy of the signature in the application form. The admit cards for the physical efficiency test will be issued online.
General and Other Backward Class applicants will have to pay Rs.200 and for SC, ST, EWS, and MBC category applicants Rs.175 as examination fee.
