Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh: The Rajnandgaon Police recorded a notable improvement in crime control during the year 2025, reflecting their sustained efforts in crime prevention and proactive policing. As per the Annual Crime Analysis, a total of 3,932 cases were registered in the district in 2024, while 3,886 cases were recorded in 2025, indicating a clear reduction in overall crime.
This positive trend has been achieved due to the Rajnandgaon Police’s focus on preventive measures, effective monitoring, and timely action against minor offences, which helped avert the escalation of crimes. Continuous patrolling, community engagement, and intelligence-based policing played a key role in maintaining law and order across the district.
Looking ahead to 2026, the Rajnandgaon Police have planned stricter crime control strategies, with special emphasis on traffic awareness, traffic engineering improvements, and intensified challan (fine) enforcement to further strengthen traffic management.
With strong police–public cooperation, the district aims to move forward with a unified vision of “Zero Incidents – Zero Accidents,” ensuring a safer and more secure environment for all citizens.
