Ramanathapuram: On 01.03.2021 SI Mr. John Anthony Peter and the guards were engaged in a vehicle check at the Kamuthi area in Ramanathapuram district.
During this time a man on a two-wheeler came that way. The police personal on duty stopped him to conduct the checking.
A search of the vehicle revealed that it contained a sword. Following this, Inspector Mr. Anbu Prakash arrested Divakaran, son of Pandi from O. Karaisalkulam, who came in the vehicle under the Arms Act.
