Ranchi: Ranchi’s Senior Superintendent of Police received confidential intelligence indicating that a group of criminals was plotting a crime in the Pundag OP area. Responding with urgency, the Ranchi Police immediately set about verifying the accuracy of the information. Upon confirmation, they organized and conducted a meticulously planned raid on the suspected location. This decisive action led to the arrest of three individuals involved in the criminal activities.
During the raid, the police seized a significant cache of items. Among the confiscated materials were a country-made pistol and two live bullets, underscoring the potential threat posed by the criminals. Additionally, an Apache motorcycle, which had been reported stolen from the Ormanjhi police station area, was recovered, providing a crucial link to previous criminal activities.
The operation also yielded 19 mobile phones, likely intended for use in further illegal activities or as stolen goods. Alongside these, Rs 1900 in cash was found, potentially the proceeds of prior crimes or intended for financing future illicit operations. The police also recovered various other items, details of which are still being cataloged to determine their relevance and connection to the criminal network.
