Rachakonda: On March 18, 2024, in a Criminal Case of the POCSO Act, of Saroor Nagar Police Station, the Honorable Fast Track Special Judge for the Expeditious Trial and Disposal of Rape and POCSO Act Cases, Ranga Reddy District, at L.B. Nagar, convicted the accused Harish Uppunuthala, son of Narayana Chary, aged 22, residing in Saroornagar, native of Mahaboob District to undergo life imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs. 55,000/-, also awarding compensation of Rs. 10,00,000/- to the victim.
The investigating officer, ACP Mr. P. Venugopal Rao, Additional Public Prosecutor, Mrs. B. Sunitha, CDO Mr. J. Chander Rao HC, and Mr. Summons Ravi PC, attended on behalf of the prosecution.
