Andhra Pradesh, Srikakulam: Srikakulam District SP, Sri KV Maheshwara Reddy, IPS, directed police officers and staff to remain vigilant and fulfill their duties diligently during the three-day Arasavalli Sri Suryanarayana Swamy celebrations in Srikakulam town. He conducted a review of key arrangements, including Surya Namaskara, Shobha Yatra, cultural programs, the laser show, helicopter tourism, Rathasaptami, security measures, traffic management, vehicle parking, devotee darshan, and traffic diversions, among other aspects.
Addressing the gathering, the District SP emphasized the importance of maintaining precautionary and security measures to ensure a peaceful event, given the expected large influx of devotees. He provided guidance to police officers assigned to different sectors, outlining rules and necessary precautions. Additionally, he instructed officials to coordinate effectively with fellow officers, staff, and other departments, implementing strict measures to ensure the smooth and secure conduct of the Rathasaptami celebrations.
The review meeting was attended by Additional SP KV Ramana P, DSPs Vivekanand, Apparao, Murthy, Prasad Rao, Sheshadri, along with CILs, RIs, SIs, and RSIs of the district.
