The Border Security Force (BSF) has released the final merit list for the Direct/Deptt recruitment for the post of Head Constable (Radio Operator) and Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) in the BSF Communication Setup-2022. The recruitment process was initiated with a brief advertisement published in the Employment Newspaper, followed by a detailed advertisement uploaded on the BSF website on 20th August 2022.
According to the ICT Dte L/No. 18/15/2022/Result/BSF/4459 dated 12th April 2023, the final merit list has been prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the examination and dictation test (for Head Constable(RO) candidates only) in BSF Communication Setup-2022. The merit list includes the names of seven Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates who were unable to have their results declared earlier, but have now qualified in the above phases of examination and found eligible for the post, subject to satisfactory verification of their educational certificates, technical qualifications, essential certificates, caste certificate, character and antecedents, etc.
The final merit list indicates that all the vacancies published in the advertisement have been filled except for some vacancies of Head Condtable(RO) under the ST category that could not be filled due to the non-availability of eligible candidates and vacancies kept reserved due to orders from the Hon’ble Court.
BSF has taken utmost care in preparing the result. However, the force reserves the right to rectify any errors or omissions, if any, in the merit list. Overall, the release of the final merit list is a significant step in the recruitment process of Head Constables in the BSF Communication Setup-2022, which will pave the way for the appointment of qualified and deserving candidates.
