At 4 PM today, an inauguration ceremony was held online to celebrate the renovated Vaikom and Karukachal Police Stations. The renovation was made possible through asset development funds from Vaikom and Kanjirapalli MLAs. Chief Minister Shri Pinarayi Vijayan presided over the event and was joined by several notable attendees, including Minister of Multi State Cooperative Registration Department Shri V. N Vasavan, Chief Whip Dr. N Jayaraj, Vaikam MLA CK Asha, DIG Srinivas A, District Superintendent of Police K. Karthik IPS, Vaikam ASP Nakul Rajendra Deshmukh, and other people’s representatives and police officers.
The ceremony marked the reopening of the two police stations, which have undergone significant improvements to better serve the community.
