Haryana: Director General of Police (DGP) Mr. Shatrujeet Singh Kapoor, IPS, recently chaired a comprehensive review meeting with senior police officers to discuss the effective implementation of three newly enacted laws. As part of the strategy to ensure these laws are well understood and properly enforced, a series of awareness programs will be organized across all police stations on July 1.
These initiatives are aimed at educating both the police force and the general public about the nuances and implications of the new legislation. In preparation for this extensive outreach, an impressive 3,533 master trainers have been meticulously trained. These trainers, in turn, have facilitated the training of more than 17,000 policemen, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to enforce the new laws effectively and handle related situations proficiently. The concerted effort underscores the commitment of the police department to uphold the rule of law and ensure public safety through informed and capable law enforcement.
