New Delhi, April 27, 2025 — In an emotionally resonant premiere at PVR Vegas Mall, Dwarka, the Sindhi-language film Vardaan 3 Mithidi Amma delivered more than just a cinematic experience — it ignited a cultural revival. The film, directed by Naresh Uddhani of Ahmedabad, is a clarion call to preserve the dying Sindhi language and heritage before it’s too late.
Backed by Lalit Bijlani and his cultural movement Lal Jaa Mastana, the film is the fifth Sindhi-language feature showcased in Delhi over the past two years — a remarkable feat in an era where indigenous languages are vanishing rapidly. Speaking at the Newsmedia Association of India office – Media Club, Mr.Sham Narain emphasized the urgency: “If our language dies, our entire community will be wiped out. Language is not just communication — it is our identity, our soul.”
Vardaan 3 Mithidi Amma is not merely a film — it is a deeply moral tale portraying a mother’s unyielding love and sacrifice. The script, written by Kumar Ghanshani, and music composed by Sandeep Dhadani and Sankat Shah, weave together emotion and tradition, bringing to life the values that once defined Sindhi households. Anil Vanjani’s cinematography adds to the narrative with sensitivity and strength.
The film features standout performances by Anita Shivnani, Rani Bhambhani, Mona Sawlani, and Dolly Bijlani, with powerful portrayals that bridge generations. The premiere was graced by notable figures such as Vipin Makhija (Ahmedabad), Sham Narain (Chennai), Ajit Kherpuri (Hong Kong), and Vijay Sahani (Ajmer), while spiritual presence and blessings from Darvesh Sthan Didi Sai added sanctity to the occasion.
Actress Mona Sawlani, who played Lily, voiced a message that struck a chord: “I am a Sindhi, but I had almost become anti-Sindhi. This film brought me back to my roots. We must never be separated from our mother tongue. Without our roots, we can never truly fly.”
The event saw elderly citizens standing alongside the youth, signaling a collective awakening — a powerful sign that the fight to preserve the Sindhi identity is gaining momentum.
The Red Handed News Network’s coverage closed with a poignant reminder: “Vardaan 3 Mithidi Amma is not just a story — it is a movement. If we do not protect our language today, we risk erasing an entire civilization tomorrow.”
As the audience rose to a standing ovation, chants of “Jai Jhulelal” echoed through the hall — a cultural salute to resilience, unity, and the undying spirit of Sindhi identity.
For those who believe in cultural preservation — the time to act is now.
