Uttarkashi: Traffic in Uttarkashi District has been significantly impacted following a rockfall that has obstructed the Yamunotri National Highway near Orchha Band at Radi Top. This incident has led to a complete disruption of travel along this key route. Authorities are actively engaged in clearing the debris from the road to restore normal traffic flow. To facilitate the removal of the rock, the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) has dispatched a specialized breaker machine from Silkyara to the affected area. Efforts to reopen the highway are currently in progress, and travelers are advised to seek alternative routes if possible.
