Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka: In a proactive effort to enhance security coordination and ensure a continued peaceful environment in the district, a contingent of the Rapid Action Force (RAF), which arrived in Chikkamagaluru for an area familiarization exercise, conducted a joint route march today in Kaimara, falling under the jurisdiction of Chikkamagaluru Rural Police Station.
The march was carried out in collaboration with local police officers and personnel, reflecting the strong partnership between the central paramilitary force and the district police in maintaining public safety and responding effectively to law and order requirements. The exercise aimed to familiarize RAF personnel with the geography of the region, key junctions, residential pockets, and sensitive localities, enabling better preparedness for coordinated deployment whenever required.
During the march, the police teams interacted with residents, who expressed confidence and satisfaction over the visible policing efforts and the continuous commitment of security forces toward public safety. The presence of RAF personnel, along with district police, created a strong sense of assurance among the community.
