Palakkad, Kerala: In a proactive step towards ensuring peaceful and secure elections, the Kerala Police, along with the Central Armed Forces, conducted a joint route march within the limits of the Nattukal Police Station ahead of the 2026 Assembly elections.
The march commenced from Chethalur Central and covered key areas including Kavuvattam and Allanalur, passing through major streets to enhance visibility and public reassurance.
Led by police officers and Central force commanders, the initiative aimed to instill confidence among voters, ensuring they can exercise their democratic rights freely and without fear, while also deterring anti-social elements.
Officials stated that intensive checks, patrols, and security measures will continue to be strengthened across the jurisdiction, reaffirming the commitment to free, fair, and peaceful elections.
