Chennai: The Greater Chennai Police Commissioner Mr. Shankar Jaiswal IPS, has ordered the police to arrest culprits who are forcibly indulging women in prostitution. On 06.08.2021, on a tip-off, a team led by the Inspector of Police, S-11 Tambaram Police Station conducted surveillance in a house at Muthulingam Street, West Tambaram, and found that prostitution is being carried out. The team arrested Sadayappan (M/28) of Tiruvallur District, who engaged the women in prostitution. Four women victims were rescued. Legal action is pursued against them.
