Perambalur: District Superintendent of Police Mrs.S.Shyamla Devi is taking various measures to eliminate the sale of ganja, gutka and counterfeit liquor in Perambalur district. In this case, on (28.11.2023) under the leadership of District Superintendent of Police Mrs.S.Shyamla Devi, raids were conducted in shops and godowns in various places across the district. The Superintendent of Police conducted live inspection. Perambalur Utkota Deputy Superintendent of Police Mr.A. Palanichamy, along with Special Divisional Police Inspector Mr.S.Venkateswaran and District Superintendent of Police’s high speed squad conducted the search. Also, the Superintendent of Police said that if you have any information about the persons involved in selling, brewing and pickling of ganja, gutka and counterfeit alcohol in Perambalur district, you can inform the nearest police station or the district police office and the details of the informers will be kept confidential.
