Sagar: Superintendent of Police Sagar Mr. Atul Singh IPS has directed all the stations in charge of the district to take action against illegal gambling, betting, weapons, and drugs. In the same vein, on November 9, the police received information from the informer that under the hill of Tismala Mata’s temple in Thana Banda village, Dalpatpur Mauza, near Bihi’s Pedo, Nirpat Lodhi resident Dalpatpur’s farm had a large number of narcotic substances, ganja plants.
On confirmation of the information, the Banda police station reached the place mentioned by the informer in Dalpatpur Mauza, under the hill of Tismala Mata’s temple in the field near the tree of Bihi, and found narcotic substances in the field; green wet plants of ganja were found to be about 5 feet long whose weight was found to be 103 kg 750 grams and the estimated price were about two lakh rupees which were duly confiscated. The owner of the farm Nirpat Lodhi fled. An offense under section NDPS Act has been registered against accused Nirpat Lodhi and taken up for investigation.
