Salem, Tamil Nadu, June 18 – Demonstrating the Tamil Nadu Police’s strong commitment to citizen welfare, a special investigation camp on public petitions was organized at the Salem District Police Office under the directive of the Director General of Police.
The camp was presided over by Salem District Superintendent of Police, Shri Gautam Goyal, IPS, who personally reviewed and investigated the petitions submitted by the public. The initiative aimed to ensure swift, transparent, and effective resolution of grievances raised by citizens across the district.
The special camp provided a platform for direct interaction between the public and senior police officials, fostering trust, transparency, and accountability in the policing process. The effort has been widely appreciated by petitioners and is seen as a positive step toward responsive and people-centric policing.
