BENGALURU: After coming to Bengaluru’s Parapanna Agrahara central jail on Wednesday V K Sasikala who was convicted in the DA on February 15 by the Supreme Court refused to obey the instructions of the Police by saying no when she was told to get into the Police jeep like a pretty criminal but instead walked herself to the prison premises. Sasikala told jail officials that she was ready to walk even if the distance was long, a source from the jail said. “I am not a petty thief. I will not sit in police jeep. I will sit in the jail cell, but I will not sit like a criminal in an open police jeep. I will walk any distance, she told Police even after being instructed. Sasikala chose to walk the distance”, Police said. The court had rejected Sasikala’s request to be a VIP prisoner. The Court had told her that she was not CM and she deserved no special treatment. A source said, Police wanted her to get in to the jeep to avoid any kind of law-and-order issues, but Sasikala said ‘no’.]]>
