Krishnagiri: Ms. S. Samiksha, a student from Hosur Public School, and Ms. D. Nakshatra, a student from Nalanda School, have earned the opportunity to compete at the national level for three consecutive years after participating in the 66th National Level Air Rifle Champions Competition in Delhi. The commendable achievement was acknowledged by Hosur City Police Inspector Sivakumar, and the event was chaired by Dr. Somasundaran, President of the Hosur Rifle Coaching Association. Dr. Vazhaiparameswaran from Minda Group, Commercial Tax Deputy Commissioner D. Shankaramurthy, and other dignitaries extended their congratulations to the successful students. Head Coach D. Nishant mentioned that, out of over 7,000 participants from various age groups across India, including more than 700 from Tamil Nadu, two girls from Hosur under the age of 14 were selected. Additionally, one boy and one girl were chosen in the Chennai competition. The event was attended by Associate Treasurer P. Thangamani, Joint Secretary Ayyappan, and numerous other participants.
