Chennai: Dr Pradeep v. Phillip, IPS, who has worked since joining the police, has led his stamp in all the fields. He is the best noble person and is the simplest of all. There are a lot of youths in India, dreaming to become the Police, unfortunately, most of their dream not fulfiled to become the Police, these wandering unsteadily youths encouraged by Dr Pradeep v Phillip, IPS, and gave a hope to work along with Police Department. By this act, tens of thousands of young people are living the good life without becoming criminals at a young age, doing great social work for society.
During the semi-finals held on 29.11.2019 in New Delhi, out of 150 nominations short-listed from all domains of governance, his project, viz. FOP has been selected by the Jury and votes by the delegates, for the prestigious civilian honour- ‘SKOCH AWARD 2019’. – GOLD CATEGORY.
On 02/12/2019 , Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Dr K. Palaniswami greeted Friends of Police Founder and Director General of Police Dr Pradeep A. Phillip, IPS, who received the “SKOCH AWARD(Gold)”, in the vicinity of the Home Secretary Mr.S.K. Prabakar, IPS and the Tamil Nadu Police DGP Dr.J.K. Tripathy, IPS.
Dr Pradeep v Phillip and their awards have made the Tamil Nadu Police world-famous. The Dr Pradeep v Philip’s, who had achieved the life of many thousands of young people. Dr Pradeep v Philip’s name has made a great name in police history.

The Newsmedia Association of India – Cine Media wing, citizen reporter Mrs Charmila honoured and congratulated Dr Pradeep v. Phillip and IPS. They appreciated DGP Good service to society.
Charmila is a popular cinematic actress. She is a superstar in the Malayalam Film Industry World. She is acting in Tamil and Kannada language films also. Charmila has acted in 38 films in the Malayalam language. She was introduced to the Tamil screen by the legendary actor Mr S. S. Rajendran. It is noteworthy that, she has acted with prominent stars like Mohanlal.
A meeting of about an hour was discussed with the Friends of police and its development. Friends of Police Tamil website (www.friendsofpolice.in) was launched in the remembrance FOP 25th year of completion Silver Jubilee Anniversary and Pradeep v Philip, IPS’s birthday.
Following the actress Charmila, a number of film personalities want to support FOP, also film personalities would like to publicize the FOP Program to the public people, this was told to the Newsmedia Association of India National President and Police News Plus Chief Editor, Mr A. Charles. Police News Plus will work to further strengthen the Friends of Police Movement.
Now that the Friends of Police is being started in other states of India, plans are being formulated to implement this as soon as possible in the International Police.
