Vijayawada city: The Maha Yajna, which is being organized under the auspices of the State Government’s Devadaya Charity Department, is scheduled to take place at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada for six days from 12.05.2023 to 17.05.2023. This event is of great significance and attracts a large number of devotees from across the state. In view of this, City Police Commissioner, Mr. Kanthi Rana Tata, has issued instructions to ensure that the security arrangements are foolproof and no lapses are allowed.
To implement these directives, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr. Vishal Gunni IPS, inspected the security arrangements on 26.04.2023. During his visit, he took stock of the preparations being made in the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium and the surrounding areas. He emphasized the importance of maintaining strict security measures and coordinated efforts with other departments to ensure that the event passes off without any untoward incidents.
Mr. Vishal Gunni IPS gave appropriate instructions to the officers and staff involved in the security arrangements and asked them to ensure that all necessary arrangements were in place. He also advised them to be vigilant and prepared for any eventuality that may arise during the event.
The Deputy Police Commissioner further emphasized that the security arrangements would be closely monitored throughout the duration of the event, and that any laxity would be dealt with strictly. His statement underscores the seriousness with which the authorities are taking the issue of security and ensuring that the Maha Yajna is a safe and peaceful event for all attendees.
