Himachal Pradesh: In view of the Assembly Elections scheduled on 20th Feb 2022 in the state of Punjab detailed and elaborate security arrangements have been made at all the interstate barriers between Himachal Pradesh and Punjab.
For effective monitoring and supervision of security arrangements and Law and Order situation IGP southern Range Mr. Himanshu Mishra IPS, DIG Northern Range Mrs. Sumedha Dwevedi IPS and DIG Central Range Mr. Madhusudan IPS have been stationed in the Baddi, Police District Baddi; Nurpur, District Kangra and Bassi, District Bilaspur border areas respectively.
