Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand: In a high-level security initiative, Superintendent of Police Kamlesh Upadhyay conducted a comprehensive audit and review of security arrangements at the Hon’ble District and Sessions Court, Uttarkashi, on 20.02.2026.
Acting in compliance with directives from Police Headquarters, Uttarakhand, the SP, accompanied by police and intelligence officials, visited the court premises to assess and strengthen existing security measures. Detailed discussions were held with court authorities to address security concerns and enhance coordination.
To ensure robust and foolproof security, a special security audit team was constituted under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police Janak Singh Panwar. The team includes the Inspector of Police Lines, Uttarkashi, along with officers from the local police, intelligence, and fire department.
The audit team has been tasked with ensuring the availability of adequate police force, necessary security equipment, and effective inter-departmental coordination. The team will conduct regular reviews and submit reports to higher authorities to maintain heightened vigilance.
SP Uttarkashi directed all personnel to avoid any laxity in security arrangements and to maintain strict surveillance across all court premises in the district.
Uttarkashi Police have reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring strong, impenetrable security at judicial institutions, with police and intelligence teams remaining on high alert throughout the district.
