Rachakonda: At the Commissioner’s Office in Neredmet today, Commissioner Mr. G. Sudhir Babu IPS distributed ex gratia checks totaling Rs.7,80,040 to the family of K. Venkata Ramana Reddy, who passed away due to illness in April 2024 while serving as an ASI in the Rachakonda Police Control Room. Rs.5,80,040 was handed over to his wife, Vijita, and Rs.2,00,000 to his daughter, Ananya. Speaking on the occasion, the Commissioner pledged full support to the family, emphasizing that their welfare is the department’s responsibility and encouraging them to bring any issues to his attention. The event was attended by the President of the Police Officers Association, Bhadra Reddy, along with other family members.
