Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu: In view of the upcoming Assembly elections, the police along with the Central Armed Forces conducted a security flag march in the Kamuthi sub-division of Ramanathapuram District to ensure peaceful and secure polling.
The flag march was carried out under the directions of G. Sandeesh, IPS, Superintendent of Police of Ramanathapuram District. The initiative aimed to strengthen security arrangements and build confidence among the public, ensuring that voters can exercise their democratic rights without fear.
Police officials stated that such preventive measures are part of the comprehensive election security plan to maintain law and order and ensure the smooth conduct of the electoral process.
