<![CDATA[Security forces killed four suspected members of the outlawed Communist Party of India (Maoist) in an encounter with in the Maoist insurgency-hit Dantewada district of south Chhattisgarh early morning on early Wednesday morning. Said S.R.P. Kallur, the Inspector General (IG) of Police of restive Bastar region said, “An encounter took place near Dabbakunna village of Dantewada between the Maoists and the joint forces of the District Reserve Guard, the Special Task Force and the Central Reserve Police Force today morning. Four dead bodies in Maoist uniform were recovered from the spot of the encounter”. The security forces also recovered eight weapons from the dead Maoists including four rifles. Two out of four Maoists were identified as CPI (Maoist) 26th platoon commander Madkami Deve and Katekalyaan area committee member of the CPI (Maoist) Massa who was also an accused in the Jiram Ghati attack on the Congress party convoy in 2013, according to the IG.]]>
