Vijayawada City: To commemorate Independence Day, an evening dinner is scheduled at Raj Bhavan on August 15, 2023, under the gracious patronage of Mr. S. Abdul Nazir, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh. Mr. Kanti Rana Tata I.P.S, the City Police Commissioner, emphasized the necessity for stringent security measures at Raj Bhavan during the event. Acting upon these directives, Deputy Police Commissioner Mr. Vishal I.P.S led a comprehensive review of the security preparations at Raj Bhavan today, involving representatives from various departments.
